field garden - july 2025

These better girl tomatoes are producing quite well.  These were purchased as small plants from an organic grower at the local farmer's market.

This tower of green is a dry bean called Good Mother Stallard bean.  We purchased them as seeds from Johhny's Seeds.

We had harvested from this oregano plant earlier in this year, and it just keeps sending up shoots.  Here it is getting ready to bloom.

These adorable little tomatoes are called Mexico Midgets and we purchased them as seeds from Seed Savers.  The two plants we have this year are volunteers from last year's planting!

We have kept our brussels under netting the entire time since planting in the garden.  The seeds were purchased and planted under grow lights back in March.  The stalks are strong but no brussels yet!

The blueberry bushes at the front of the row are several different varieties. They produced a good harvest this year.

The apple and peach trees in the background are quite healthy but neither have any fruit due to a late freeze.
